What are Courses, Online Course Products, and Memberships?
Courses
Courses are structured educational programs designed to teach a specific subject or skill. They typically consist of a series of lessons or modules that are delivered in a logical sequence, enabling students to build their knowledge progressively. Courses can be offered in various formats, including in-person, online, or a combination of both.
Benefits and Uses:
Skill Development: Courses help learners acquire new skills or improve existing ones.
Structured Learning: Provides a clear path and milestones for learning.
Certification: Often includes a certificate of completion that can enhance professional credibility.
Flexible Learning: Online courses offer flexibility to learn at one's own pace.
Online Course Products
Online course products are digital educational programs delivered through the internet. They can include video lessons, downloadable resources, quizzes, assignments, and interactive elements to engage students. Online courses can be standalone products or part of a larger educational offering.
Benefits and Uses:
Accessibility: Available to anyone with an internet connection, breaking geographical barriers.
Convenience: Learners can access materials anytime, fitting education into their schedules.
Cost-Effective: Often cheaper than traditional in-person courses.
Scalable: Can reach a large audience without the need for physical classrooms.
Memberships
Memberships are subscription-based models where users might pay a recurring fee to access exclusive content, resources, or services. Memberships can include access to online courses, community forums, special events, and other benefits.
Benefits and Uses:
Continuous Learning: Provides ongoing access to new content and resources.
Community Building: Fosters a sense of community among members, encouraging interaction and networking.
Exclusive Access: Members get access to premium content and benefits not available to non-members.
Recurring Revenue: For businesses, memberships provide a steady stream of income.
Understanding Products and Offers
Products: Individual modules/products.
Offers: Can be a single product or a bundle/group of products.
Note that offers need to be created for your products as they are used in automation workflows instead of courses/products.
Courses Setup Guide
Head to the Memberships Tab

Here you will see a simple dashboard showcasing your course sales, members, and more.
Course Settings
Click on the Dropdown Menu in the Courses Tab and Head to Settings
We suggest configuring your settings first

Site Settings: Edit details like site info, URL, add tracking codes, and custom CSS or JavaScript. Toggle if you want to download your videos in the courses here. Remember to click save.
Domain Setup: Configure your domain details for your client portal where your courses will be hosted. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize your DNS settings. Click save.
Email Setup: Configure the email templates sent to your clients. Note that templates need to be created in the Emails page in the Marketing tab(Read more about email templates here.)

Note: These emails will be sent to all your clients for all your courses, so avoid using specific course names. Instead, utilize custom values. Read more on custom values here.
Analytics
Head to the Analytics Page from the Dropdown Menu

View analytics regarding your courses and members here
Course Progress: Track progress of your learners.
Assessments: View assessment results.
Members Analytics: Access and track profiles of learners.
Revenue Analytics: Explore stats for one-time purchase revenue.
Creating a New Course
On the Dropdown Menu, Click Products and Select "Create New"
Choose from the Following Course Types:

Sprint Course: Short courses to build a gateway to memberships.
Marathon Course: Train and upskill your audience within your niche.
Membership: Nurture and mentor your network.
Build Your Own: Create a custom product that matches your content.
Edit Details
Customize your product details: Title, Description, Thumbnail, Instructor Info, add in custom CSS and Javascript

Product Page Logo and Favicon: Note these are for your course page and are separate from what we have configured in the settings which was for the login page. Remember to click save.
Customize Your Course
General Themes: Hover over a theme and click "Customize."


Theme Settings: Change colors, fonts, and background.

Sections: Edit section colors, fonts, and background.
Course Outline Organization
Categories, Lessons, and Subcategories: Each course/product contains categories, which house lessons. Subcategories can also be created within categories. Lessons may also house assesments.

Reorganize Content: Hover over the content, click on the three horizontal lines, and drag up and down to move.
Shift Lessons: To move a lesson under a subcategory, drag it under the subcategory and towards the right.


Assessments: You are able to create assessments for each lesson.
Setting Up Your Lessons
Edit Categories and Lessons: Click on the header to edit category details or hover over posts and click the pen icon to edit.

Upload Files: Add necessary videos or files to your lesson posts.

Set Thumbnails and Visibility: Choose published or draft status.
Deleting Any Category, Lesson or Assessment: Scroll down and click delete for assessments, categories, lessons, or subcategories. Note that a category can only be deleted if all its lessons have been deleted.

Additional Features
Comments: View and manage comments and comment settings.
Offers: View offers associated with this product.
Certificates: Attach a certificate to award clients upon course completion.
Creating Offers in DOJODIGI
1. Navigate to the Offers Tab:
Head to the dropdown menu and select "Offers."

Enter your offer details and select the courses/products you want to include.
Click "Create."
Note: To charge your clients for courses, you need to integrate your payment gateway. Read more about it here or go to Settings > Integrations tab > Connect your payment gateways like Stripe or PayPal and follow the on-screen instructions.
2. Editing Offer Details:
Details Page: Edit basic details like thumbnail, description, and offer access (set accessibility for members who purchase this offer: start access on a specific date and/or restrict access to a certain number of days). Set validity (published or draft), pricing details, and allow coupons. Click "Save."

3. Upsell Tab:

Add Upsell: Choose between two upsell types:
One Click Upsell: Sell an offer after the initial offer is purchased.
In-App Upsell: Lock products or offers as a bundle in the My Library page.
Note: You must have other offers created to upsell them in other offers.
4. Get Link:
Click "Get Link" to copy and send the links to your customers. The link allows them to input their name, email, and pay any course fees. An email will automatically be sent to them with a login username and password for course access.
5. Preview Page:
Preview the course offer link.
6. More Actions:
Click on "More Actions" and "Delete" to delete this course offer.
7. Edit Checkout:

Click on "Edit Checkout" to edit your customer's checkout funnel, i.e., what appears on the link for them to purchase and their purchase journey.

You may edit the offer details and information collected here.
You may click on "Service Agreement" to add your custom service terms.
Tip: If you dislike the default checkout layout and steps, you can always create your own customised funnel link and sell the course products there for more branding and customization.
Tip: If you don't wish to create a funnel but want a customised sign up page, you may do so via a customised email sign up page by customising the "Send Offer Access Email" (scroll up to the "Course Settings" section above to learn more). Once you have customised the email, set up a course sign up form using our form builder(read more on our form builder) and set up a workflow automation such that whenever the sign up form is filled(or whenever a payment is received and the payment is for your desired course products if you wish to price them) to send a "Course Grant Offer" action which will send the course offer email to whoever signs up.
Note: You have to create a new product under products in the payments tab and link it to the course/membership product by enabling the membership toggle and selecting the course/membership.

Building Communities:

Communities provide a platform for collaboration, interaction, and questions. It is rather similar to Discord but hosted professionally within your own client portal alongside your courses! And yes, you may choose to charge for community group access as an extra revenue stream for your business!
Navigate to the Communities Tab: Click "Create Group."

Create Group: Fill in your details and branding specifics like color, logo, favicon, etc., and create your group! Communities provide a platform for collaboration, interaction, and questions, similar to Discord, but hosted within the client portal alongside the courses.

Community Group Settings
Configure Your Community Group:


General Info: Set up basic information about your group.

Subscription Fees: Define the membership fees for joining the group.
Branding: Customize the look and feel with your branding elements.
Themes: Choose and customize themes to match your brand.
Gamification: Add unique names for membership stages.

The points and level system works as follows:
Points: Earn points when members like your posts or comments. 1 like = 1 point, encouraging quality content and interaction.
Levels: Progress through levels based on points earned. Each level requires a specific number of points.

Rewards: Add rewards for your community group members!
Community Group Tabs

Discussions:
View and write posts to engage with community members.
Channels:
Channels are community spaces within Discussions where users can share posts and interact with one another!


Learning:
Add your course products to the community group. Ensure courses are created beforehand. Members receive automatic email and portal notifications when new courses are added.


Members:
View detailed information about all group members, including roles like admins and contributors.
Leaderboard:
Track the leaderboard status of yourself and your members.
Invite Members:
Copy and send invite links or send email invites to grant automatic access to the group.

Certificates
Create certificates for your course graduates to commend their accomplishment!

Client Portal
What is a Client Portal?
A client portal is a secure online gateway where clients can log in to access courses, communities, and affiliate payouts at any time! It is where your community groups and courses are hosted!
Editing Your Client Portal:
Access Dashboard:
Head to the Sites tab > Client Portal page > Dashboard

Click the dropdown and select "Dashboard" to manage portal activities. Send invite links or login emails for direct access without passwords.
Settings:

Domain Setup: Configure the domain for your client portal. This can also be done in the course settings page in the memberships tab.
Branding: Edit branding details of the client portal. This can also be done in the course settings page in the memberships tab.
App Permissions: Enable or disable client portal functions (courses, membership groups, affiliate programs). Change the default landing page, with "Home" recommended as the default.

Magic Links
What is a Magic link in Memberships?
Have you ever been in a situation where you're trying to get somebody in membership, or you want to get them in quickly, and they've lost their password, or they can't figure out how to log in? A Memberships magic link is the one-click solution for that. The fastest way to get your customers and users into your membership courses is if they forget their username or password.
The magic link is designed to side-step having to use a username and password to log in. Once logged in, clients will see whatever "products" you/they have been granted access to. It is meant to give clients access only to the products they have been granted access to.
Membership sites can be great for sharing valuable content with your customers or users. However, sometimes logging in can be a hassle, especially if someone forgets their password. That's where Membership magic links come in. These one-click links allow your clients to quickly and easily access your courses without remembering their usernames or password. How to Create Magic Links?
Head over to your client portal dashboard in the sites tab > client portal
Click on generate magic link

Select contact, choose your contact and click generate and send

Magic Links In Automations
Please Note:
If you are using a workflow to send out the Memberships magic link, please make sure that the workflow is fired off by the Membership New Signup trigger so that the workflow can populate the required custom values in the email.
Paste your magic link in the URL field:
In the "Open link in" dropdown, choose whether you want the magic link to open the memberships portal in the Current or a New Window. Then click on Save.

Can Magic Links expire?
Magic Link can expire If you generate a new one. Older ones will be invalid.
Does a contact need access to an offer for a magic link to work for them?
It doesn't work for contacts who don't have a membership offer granted to them.
